I used to get 4+ UTIs a year. It was affecting my confidence, relationships, and mental health. After trying cranberry pills, D-mannose, and countless antibiotics, I gave probiotics a shot.
The one that finally helped was Flora Guard™—a blend of 5 strains specifically for vaginal health. I’m 3 months UTI-free now. Curious if anyone else tried probiotics like this? https://flora-guard.ca/

My wife in the same boat 😓 Had like 6 UTIs last year, mostly triggered after intimacy or antibiotics.
She had tried cranberry extract, D-mannose, and even garlic pills lol.
Haven’t looked much into targeted probiotics yet, but Flora Guard sounds interesting. Do you take it daily or just after symptoms?

Yes, certain probiotics can help prevent UTIs, especially recurring ones. The key is using strains that restore the balance of vaginal and urinary flora—Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus reuteri are among the most researched. These strains help lower pH and stop harmful bacteria (like E. coli) from sticking to the urinary tract walls.

That said, probiotics alone may not be enough. What actually works for many women with recurring UTIs is a multi-step approach:

  • Taking a daily UTI-targeted probiotic

  • Staying well-hydrated

  • Urinating after sex

  • Avoiding harsh soaps or douches

  • And for some, D-Mannose (a sugar that helps flush bacteria) can also be effective

Look for products backed by clinical studies and reviews from women with similar issues. Everyone’s body is different, but prevention is absolutely possible! ✅
